This week brought us to Deming, New Mexico, where we spent the week at Stagecoach RV Park. On our drive there, we were "assaulted" by quite a few dust devils! Thankfully, they were more entertaining than dangerous, but they definitely kept us on our toes.

Stagecoach was a nice, straightforward RV park with many of the sites offering beautiful views of Florida Peak. It was the perfect place to relax for a few days... or at least it would have been if the weather had cooperated.

This week was HOT.

And when we say hot, we mean the kind of hot where you step outside, the wind starts blowing, and instead of cooling you off, it feels like you're standing above the outdoor unit of an air conditioner. It was basically a giant hair dryer blowing all over you at 20mph+.

Because of the extreme heat, we kept Monday and Tuesday pretty low-key. Sometimes RV life means exploring every day, and sometimes it means hiding inside with the air conditioning running full blast.

Wednesday was a big day for two of our three puppies.

If you remember from a few weeks ago, Fern had a pretty severe double ear infection and needed a follow-up appointment. Marble was also due for his next round of puppy vaccinations, and we wanted to make sure those pesky hookworms were finally gone.

We're happy to report that both Fern and Marble received a clean bill of health! Marble is officially finished with all of his puppy shots, and Fern's ears are finally all healed up.

Of course, there was no way Ivy was going to let her brother & sister have all the fun, so all three dogs made the trip to the vet together. We know she would have never forgiven us if we had left her behind.

Since everyone was on their best behavior, we made a stop at Tractor Supply afterward to let them pick out a reward.

Fern and Ivy immediately chose the biggest stuffed pig they could find, while Marble fell in love with the cutest little dinosaur toy, fitting for a pup who thinks he is a dinosaur, doesn't help that we call him dinosaur often!

Thursday brought another exciting opportunity.

William met with the owner of Stagecoach RV Park to demonstrate a new SaaS (Software as a Service) platform he's developing to help RV park owners manage their campgrounds.

The meeting went really well. The owner was very interested in the idea and even offered some fantastic suggestions that William plans to incorporate into future development. It's exciting to watch another adventure begin alongside our travels, and we'll definitely keep everyone updated as the project grows.

Friday brought another surprise from Mother Nature.

After Krysta finished work, we were relaxing inside the trailer, working on a few creative projects for ABGT 700, when both of our phones suddenly started blaring with an Emergency Alert. Curious, we looked out the window—and our jaws dropped.

Heading straight toward us was a massive wall of sand.

Within minutes, the sky turned brown, visibility dropped dramatically, and we found ourselves right in the middle of a full-blown dust storm. The wind was howling, dust was everywhere, and it was one of the wildest weather events we've experienced since starting this journey. Thankfully, we were already safely inside the trailer, where we watched Mother Nature put on quite the show from the comfort of our living room.

The rest of the week was spent balancing work with a few creative projects as we continue preparing for ABGT 700. Every week brings us one step closer, and the excitement is definitely starting to build.

Before we knew it, Saturday had arrived and it was time to hitch up and move once again.

Originally, our plan was to stop for the night in Maricopa, Arizona.

But as the miles rolled by, William looked over and said, "I think we can make it all the way to tomorrow's destination."

So... we kept driving.

And let's just say, I bet none of you can guess where we ended up, come back next week to see where we landed for another week full of work, play, and hopefully some great views.

Until then, thanks for following along with our adventure, and we'll see you next week on Solitude State of Mind. 🚐❤️
